Our client, an e-commerce solution provider, needs an experienced web developer to work on cutting edge software. They are focused on bringing new and traditional services paired with leading edge tech to their clients. You’ll love this fast paced high-energy team.
Required skills:
3+ years real-world experience in developing web applications
Significant experience with Ruby on Rails & HAML
DB Experience (MySQL or similar, you should have the capabilities to write queries, create tables, etc.
Familiarity with Git revision control system
Linux/Unix skills, you won’t need to do system administration, but you must be able to at least do basic tasks on the command-line
Solid Javascript skills, you’ll need to know about things like: AJAX, JSON, & JS Frameworks, jQuery, etc.
Understanding of modern web standards: html/xhtml, css, best practices, etc.
