Our client in San Francisco is looking for a Senior Web Developer to work with them as they take social networking to a new level. If you have the requirements, are passionate about quality coding and are in, or willing to relocate to, San Francisco, please get in touch!

Responsibilities
- You will own the Rails backend code
- Use RSpec and Cucumber to fully test your code
- Contribute to the JS frontend
- Push code to production on a daily basis
- Work with the CEO and design team
- Fix bugs and performance issues
- Help build a team of experts you want to work with

Required skills:

Requirements
- Extensive web app development experience in ruby, python, or PHP
- At least one project in Rails 3 under the belt
- Experience with performance testing and debugging
- Understand when and when not to use caching strategies
- Knowledge of unobtrusive Javascript patterns
- Experience with optimizing SQL joins and views
- Obsession for detail
- Ability to code, test, and deploy on a daily basis
- Passion for learning, experimenting, and taking your skills to the next level
- Familiarity with behavior driven development principles
- An obsession with code quality are a good match.

Desired skills:

And please note that more important than years of experience with Ruby is years of experience as an engineer building web applications.
