Required skills:

Be a self-learner with strong creative problem solving abilities

Demonstrated experience in Ruby and Rails

Are fluent in SQL/MySQL as well as ActiveRecord

Have strong experience in searching and optimizing searches

Have a solid understanding of web application architecture and design

Have version control experience, i.e., Git, Mercurial, Subversion, etc.

Love Rails testing tools and use them constantly

Desired skills:

Have developed several RoR applications, including one high-traffic site

E-commerce APIs for Rails

Experience working with large databases

Well-versed in enterprise architecture and scalability

Experience developing software in a Unix environment

Agile development, including TDD/BDD
