Are you a Ruby Professional who thrives on a challenging and rewarding job? We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect and Leader who can bring their solid experience designing, developing and deploying solutions and expertise with Ruby and Ruby on Rails as well as their ability to manage a team centric group of professionals. The lead will work closely with functional subject matter experts to convert conceptual designs into working solutions
This person will demonstrate a “been there, done that” best practices development capability using design patterns while having proven their capacity for innovation and improvement. We are looking for a professional with full-life cycle experience, including: design, development, testing, deployment and documentation.
The successful candidate will have at least three successful Ruby development projects on their resume and strong communication skills, having led an effort of 4 or more programmers in the role of technical architect, technical lead, or task manager for at least one of those projects. The other skills required include:
• Experience Leveraging Cloud Based Development Resources
• Experience implementing Web Services
• Oracle, SQL or MySQL database experience
• Entity Framework Mapping
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members to deliver
• Leadership and Task/Team Management Experience
• Experience with software development cycle
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to excel in idea generation, evaluation, and prioritization
