We’re in need of one UI designer to join our college-based startup — www.Noteswap.com — and help us design a layout that is simple and intuitive, light and beautiful.
This designer will be the chief visionary for our summer redesign, and must be extremely design savvy, gets social media and web 2.0 design, and is an out of the box thinker that balances creativity with strong technical skills. Must have a keen seen of design scalability, user behavioral tendencies, click awareness, and other points needed for an effective, sticky, and viral website.
Noteswap is an academic community for college students to come together, communicate, and share a host of different class-specific material. Our concept is extremely viral (featured in 15+ publications) and has true game changing potential.
If you are someone who excels in this field, is self-driven, writes good clean code, is preferably enrolled in college, and borderline arrogant in his/her abilities; we want to hear from you! Funding is spotty, so you must be willing to work for equity.
Required skills:
1-2 years experience in web applications design, programming and testing using:
- Ruby on Rails
- PHP
- Javascript
- AJAX
- XML
- CSS
