Our HubOnline business provides our customers with a sophisticated range of high quality end-to-end real estate back office applications and they are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to join the team.

As a Lead Ruby Developer your experience will help build the technical and physical architecture, and you will be responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of HubOnline ruby components. This is a hands-on role, as well as having the responsibility of mentoring other developers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Contributing strongly to the formulation and implementation of strategies to migrate legacy software systems and databases to modern Ruby and Ruby on Rails solutions incorporating comprehensive test suites and managed version control, deployment and continuous integration environments,
- Helping to setup and maintain development and production environments and architecture as we transition to Ruby.
- Developing feature enhancements internally, including analysis, design, programming, QA, deployment, and support, in an iterative, pragmatic manner

Required skills:

To be successful in this role you will have advanced expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails and experience deploying and maintaining Ruby applications in a live production environment, including scaling, performance tuning and security.
