ThoughtLead, an idealistic Rails-driven startup with a growing userbase, is looking for an intern with experience in API integration—particularly payment systems, shopping carts, and email marketing.

We need our beautiful and maturing app to be able to integrate with services like InfusionSoft, PayPal, 1ShoppingCart, MailChimp, iContact, and Constant Contact. We’ve got one rockstar doing bug fixes, another building out the CMS functionality, and all we’re missing is that one kick-ass developer who enjoys making apps talk to each other just as much as eating cold pizza for breakfast (mmm, cold pizza).

Ideally, you know ActiveMerchant, and you might have even played around with the SaaS RailSkit. You’ll only get paid intern-level compensation—$500 per month—but you’ll be in a position to come on board later when we launch the company to the public (right now, we’re in private beta), and you’ll work with an inspired team of people who want to make a hugely positive impact on the world.

Required skills:

API integration experience
Knowledge of ActiveMerchant, PayPal, and ecommerce integration in general
Proactive, responsive, and driven

Desired skills:

Experience with email marketing integration (MailChimp, iContact, Constant Contact)
