Smartdate is the future of online dating. An international platform loaded with Web 2.0 functionalities and fully integrated with social networks (Facebook). Alpha launch Feb 15, beta launch Mar 15.

Smartdate is a VC-backed ambitious startup and developed by proven entrepreneurs and experts in the dating industry.

The team is an international team based in Paris, France working mainly in English.

Job requirements:
• Must have über knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Must have a Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science
• Previous startup experience and development in an Agile development life cycle
• Strong Understanding of Design Patterns and software architecture
• Experience with large scale deployments a plus
• Insightful Database knowledge
• Familiarity with the NoSQL movement
• Interest in Collaborative Filtering
• Understands what is funny about Chuck Norris
• A hungry mind that wants to push concepts to the limit
• The maturity to know when to work like crazy, and when to kick back
• World-class knowledge of any or all: Ruby (Rails), Python, Java, C++, C, Assembly (byte-code)
