We are a venture backed startup based in San Francisco.Our vision is to turn smartphones into smartcameras by leveraging location based technologies & the rapidly improving quality of camera phones.Using the iPhone app or website, our users create events, upload mobile photos, and create real-time event photo streams to share with users around them.Photos and events are public & can be followed live on the web or directly on mobile devices.
We were funded last March & launched our first product in September (iPhone App) @ TechCrunch 50.Since then, we have launched our web product & have continued to improve our core technology.We have received industry recognition by winning several accolades:Locally,we were recently presented with an Emerging Technology award from the San Jose Business Journal,& nationally, we were recognized as the Winner of the Mobile Apps Showdown at the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
We are followers of the lean startup philosophy,and practice Agile Development.We’re interested in meeting with people with expertise in Rails development and restful APIs to support mobile & web front-ends.
Ideally,you are a super talented,self motivated Coder who is ready to join a fast growing startup.You are experienced in a wide variety of development environments & have the skills necessary to work in a Rails Environment in support of a restful API consumed my web and mobile platforms.You’ve had the opportunity to apply your talent to real-world projects (perhaps for a larger company) & are ready for the glamorous lifestyle that only a Silicon Valley startup can give you.You have the desire to be a part of a team where you can quickly become a key player & can help drive a product forward.You are excited by the prospect of using agile methods in the real world.Like us,you live for this stuff.
