We are a stealth mode startup company that will revolutionize the space we are taking on and we are looking for a part time or full time programmer with advanced to expert experience programming in Ruby on Rails and JQuery to work closely with our four person engineering team, product manager, and founder to develop to extend or product UI and to develop new product features. The ideal person will be capable of writing custom Ruby on Rails code that interacts with JQuery, improving the application’s current CSS, designing buttons in Photoshop (1-5%), and contributing to the product’s overall information architecture and vision.

About The Role
This is a role where you will be expected to hit the ground running. If you don’t know Ruby on Rails and JQuery well then this isn’t for you. You should also know CSS and HTML inside and out. The product is almost one year into development now and will have users shortly so your role will initially be to help with pre-launch UI tweaks, followed by new feature development, and feature development in response to user feedback. We are early enough as startups go that you will have the ability to significantly contribute to the product vision as well as the product look and feel.

Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of Ruby on Rails programming experience. If you have worked on a consumer facing website built with Ruby on Rails and JQuery that would be ideal.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, CSS, HTML.
