Boston Logic Technology Partners, Inc. is a technology and marketing consultancy providing web development, online marketing, and IT consulting services. We are looking for a dynamic technologist to join our team as a Developer. This is an opportunity to play a role in an exciting growing company.

The Boston Logic development team is a group of highly intelligent and creative individuals with deep technical skills. The Developer must be comfortable working in a fast paced – sometimes high pressure – changing environment. Interaction with clients, project managers, designers, developers, marketing associates and our sales team are all in a day’s work.

Working in our development team, you will play a role in the planning, execution and success of client engagements as well as internal development projects. Our software is written in Ruby using the Ruby on Rails framework. You will be expected to write Ruby code every day. Strong technical and coding skills are essential for this job. You should have experience interacting with clients and effectively communicating with several parties to achieve results.

Required skills:

Technical Requirements:
- 1+ year of Ruby on Rails web development experience
- Knowledge of the MVC framework architecture and Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of at least 1 Javascript framework, preferably jQuery or Prototype/Scriptaculous
- Familiarity with Linux and a grasp of working with the command line
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, primarily MySQL
- Previously worked with at least one Source Control Management tool
- Experience with TDD or BDD
- Experience with AJAX technologies
- Fluent in HTML and CSS
