We are an very exciting early stage web 2.0 startup ready to bring concept to beta. The feedback we have received so far has been amazing!
We are looking to round out our group with a technical co-founder (CTO) to architect and develop our application. We are looking for a talented, passionate and entrepreneurial tech guru who’s had experience building consumer web technology / companies and we are willing to offer a large equity position as part of the package. In addition, we are looking for someone with experience with social networking, mobile and consumer businesses; and experience architecting and building consumer facing web platforms; familiarity with popular social media APIs (Facebook, twitter, flickr, etc). Rock-star programmer is key!
Required skills:
The CTO will be responsible for leading the initial product development and the progression and expansion of technology. Ideally, playing a visionary role as a guide for prototyping and the progression of new ideas. The CTO will drive back-end and core technical development while combining a broad knowledge of the potential value in emerging technologies, and a keen understanding of how these technologies can affect the company’s business and business processes.

- Thrives in a start-up environment
- Has entrepreneurial blood type
- Expertise in using and determining the appropriate framework, RoR, Python, LAMP, etc.
- Has experience building web apps from the ground up
- Has experience building and managing small engineering teams, but is still very hands-on and can code early custom modules himself/herself
- Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design
- Has experience in front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS and AJAX
- Confident in your skills and willing to carry the technical burden through our early stages
- Someone who is comfortable sitting in pitch meetings with top VC’s and can take the heat from a tech standpoint.
