You will join a team of experienced RoR developers practicing agile software development.

Job Responsibilities

As a Ruby-on-Rails Developer, you will:
• Work closely with our product designers to understand functionality, layouts, and interfaces in order to provide accurate development estimates
• Adhere to our test driven development (TDD) standards by writing comprehensive tests to verify your code
• Pair program with other team members to implement Ruby code using the Ruby on Rails framework and other open source libraries

Qualifications

A successful candidate must:
• Have excellent oral communication skills
• Be proficient at the Ruby programming language
• 2+ years working with Ruby on Rails
• Have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL
• Be able to openly accept criticism and be able to speak his/her mind without offending others
• Show a strong ability to solve problems systematically and creatively
• Demonstrate great attention to detail and be an organized thinker
